Job Title: Tourism Intern Tutor

Amboseli Institute of Hospitality & Technology invites applications from enthusiastic, motivated and qualified individuals for the position of Tourism Intern Tutor.
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Tourism Management, Travel and Tour Operations, Tourism and Hospitality Management, or a closely related field from a recognized institution.
- Recent graduates with a strong interest in pursuing a career in teaching and training are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of tourism operations, tour guiding, travel planning, destination management and tourism geography.
- Understanding of itinerary preparation, tour costing, customer service and sustainable tourism practices.
- Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office applications.
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for teaching, mentoring and supporting students in their academic and practical development.
- Willingness to learn and work under the guidance and supervision of experienced tutors.
- Good organizational skills, creativity, adaptability and a positive attitude towards professional development.
- Familiarity with ICM, KNEC OR CDAC examining bodies will be an added advantage but is not mandatory.
- Prior teaching experience of at least six months.
