The inspiration of becoming a chef came from seeing and experiencing food and drinks as a young girl.
My journey at Amboseli Institute started back in April 2015, with a big smile on my face. I pursued a Diploma course in Hospitality management, then went out for my first attachment in 2016 at metropolitan Hospital – Buruburu. For my second attachment(2017), I went to Gelian Hotel – Machakos county, where I covered several areas. It was an amazing experience being in the industry for the first time.
During my studies I demonstrated a lot of enthusiasm, dedication and focus. I graduated in October 2018.
This is my 3rd year as a Barista at Vitu Too Restaurant-Meru County. I am grateful to Amboseli institute
of hospitality and Technology for making me whom I am today! I salute all Amboseli staff for their effort and love.
