Jambo my Amboseli Institute family?

My names are Emmanuel Ngatuny Kishoyian.

I was lucky enough to join Amboseli Institute of hotels and travel (now Amboseli Institute of Hospitality & Technology) in the year 2000.Tour Guiding and Administration was my favorite course at the time. Because the institution was one of a kind, I took advantage of doing other courses like; front office, business communication, French, computer studies, social anthropology, environment studies, first aid and psychology. When I graduated, I joined Serena Lodges and Hotels for my attachment. I was at Mara Serena for 6 months.

Serena is one of the best hotels in the world. After completing my attachment, the company was impressed with the quality of work, skills and knowledge that i brought into the industry and they employed me as a receptionist. Thanks again Amboseli Institute.

As a receptionist I worked hard for five years before i requested for departmental transfer to join tour guiding. This was my favorite department. I joined tour guiding in 2016 and I was awarded the best employee of the year. Currently I am working as a driver guide at Mara Serena Lodge. Being alumni of Amboseli Institute makes me proud.

For the students who are currently in this institution; discipline, hard work, focus and believing in yourself will brighten your future.
